Confidentiality
All our interactions (conversations, email, etc.) will remain strictly confidential, I will not share any information provided by you with anyone without your express consent unless you have told me that you have harmed or intend to harm yourself or someone else in which case, I would be obliged to contact your doctor and the police.
Public Health
Confidentiality may be broken for reasons of public health and your contact information may be shared with NHS and/or other relevant bodies.
Availability
Feel free to contact me outside of our scheduled sessions by phone or by email. In fact, I encourage you to stay in touch via email as this provides an easily accessible way for me to monitor your progress and add extra insights during your journey. I will do my best to return all phone calls and emails within 24 hours of receiving them. If I am away from the office for any reason you will receive an automatic email with an appropriate response.
Commitments and Integrity
If, in exceptional circumstances, I am unable to keep a commitment, I will notify you of this as soon as possible. If at any point in time, I feel that my involvement is not likely to make a positive difference in your life, I will let you know. By the same token, I expect you to keep any promises made or commitments discussed during our sessions.
Non-Judgmental
I am not here to judge you! My position as a therapist is to help you become the best version of you possible, in the quickest time possible. There is nothing you can say or may have done that will shock me.
Feedback
Give and ask for feedback as much as possible. Let me know when something is working for you, or if it doesn’t. The sooner the better. If I ever do or say anything that upsets you or doesn’t feel right, please bring it to my attention so that we can resolve it as soon as possible. My objective is to have a relationship that is fully open, honest, real, and trusting.
Fees
Fees are variable depending on the nature of your issue and therapy, the fees will be agreed before your first session, and must be paid at least 24 hours in advance.
Preferred payment methods are by Cash, Bank Transfer, or by Credit/Debit card reader (chip & Pin) at the therapy office. Bank details will be sent once your booking is confirmed.
Cancellations
It is important for you to keep appointments, for your benefit as well as the benefit of my other clients. 24-hour notice is required to cancel an appointment; I reserve the right to charge the full fee for a session cancelled with less than 24-hours notice. If you are delayed for an appointment or can’t make it, please call me on 07766 408867 to let me know.
